How do you throw a ball of sand at someone?

If I am outside of town, I can click the ball, but it just does nothing. How do I throw it at someone?

At least in the german version of Die2Nite the sandballs were only enabled for a short time, after that they don't work anymore. I assume they're now also disabled in the english version.

Of course it does. Gyro ball inflicts more damage the slower the user is compared to the target, calculated by the following formula: Base Power = 25 × (Target's Current Speed / User's Current Speed) But what you get is only the Base Power of the move, not the effective damage you will do. If you have a -2 stage on attack, Gyro Ball will be half its normal power.

They seem to do the same as the two buttons when the horde attacks. You know, where you can hide under your blankets, scream in agony and whatever more. They do absolutely nothing. It gives me something to do when I get back from a hard minute at work.

I think the number of people is around 10, although it can be reduced by building the scanner. It is not reduced when people die, so if your town population has been drastically reduced, you can reach a point where you don't have enough people to estimate the next day's attack. The real number is always within the estimate.

There is no way to choose the city you want to join. Well, there is, and it's Hero-only. Here's what you can do: You either join one of the cities randomly and the city happens to be an advanced one, or You are in a coalition with an hero, the hero chooses to join a suitably empty advanced city and as a result "drags" the coalition in with him. You don't need to have 100 SP for the second scenario. This has changed. As soon as a player amasses more than 100 soul points, all future lives will begin in towns inhabited by players who also have over 100 points (allowing the best players to play together). the official Die2Nite help page

If your friend has hero status, he can use Heroic return if he hasn't yet in this town. If somebody in your town has hero status, he can use Rescue if he hasn't yet in this town. If he finds more drugs, he can use them indeed. He'll become addicted, but that's (arguably) better than dead.

I just tested it, and it indeed takes 11 squares to become thirsty. I would suppose its another 11 squares before you get dehydrated as well.

I don't think it is possible or feasible to do so from the beginning, or at all until you get plumbing up. You need to find the weapons in the first place! Punching zombies costs AP and only has a slim chance of success. Without a watch tower you have no other way of finding out about zombies other than bumping into them, AFAIK. Non-water-based weapons break easily and are expensive to repair; water weapons are just too costly before plumbing, not to forget water balloons are strictly throwaway!

There is no maximum gym time before a Pokémon is returned automatically. They must be defeated and reach 0CP before they will be returned to you. The motivation system was mostly a way to get rid of the stagnation of the old gym system where people would sit in gyms for months on end, just collecting coins every day without actually really playing the game. Your Pokémon will not degrade to 0CP and return on its own, though-- it must be defeated by an opponent on another team. From this article: When a Pokemon loses its motivation, it is kicked out of the gym, but not immediately. Rather, even after the Pokemon’s motivation has gone down to zero, it still has to lose in battle one more time before it’s booted from the gym.

According to the PokemonGo Hub, a data mine revealed that the following influence how many Premier Balls you receive: The base Pokeballs Your damage contribution Team Damage contribution Gym Ownership The percentage of damage inflicted by your team All of these seems to hold true based off the screenshot in your picture. One source suggests that the level of your Gym Badge with the gym influences how many you can receive as well. The Silph Road Reddit seems to agree with this list, and states the same, with the addition of a currently unknown multiplier: In a Raid, you appear to be awarded more 'Premier Balls' based on a few factors. These include: The base Pokeballs Individual damage contribution Team Damage contribution Gym Ownership The percentage of damage inflicted by your team A 'Bonus Item Multiplier' (unclear at the time of publication) I think it's pretty self explanatory on how to receive more premier balls. Basically, do as much damage as you can, your team has to do as much damage as they can, and try and do Raids in Gyms that are controlled by your team.

I've been playing the Scout since Hero status opened up and I've never been discovered by zombies automatically. There's quite a bit of text in die2nite that suggests something might happen (such as getting an infection from the well if someone "falls in" as reported by the gazette) when, in fact, no functionality exists behind it. I suspect this is the case with Scouts traveling through zombie-controlled territory. However, do be careful what actions you take while hidden. Unless the action is marked with a scout icon, you will be revealed to the zombies and then you have to be in control of the zone and take an action (0AP required) to regain your hidden status. Update: I have actually heard from people that you can be discovered upon entering a zone. It is apparently very rare and people also report getting xml errors from the game at the same time. Bug? Or untested rare event?

The Pokéball your Raltz is in is known as the Love Ball. Based on various guides, the Love Ball does not appear to be obtainable from any vendor within the game. The Love Ball was a pre-order bonus by pre-ordering the game through various vendors in the US and the UK, and redeemable codes in Japan.

As of 1.12 you have to encase Strings containing special characters (including spaces and apostrophes) with quotes (" "). /blockdata 10 4 9 {Lock:"Elyiana's Mage Key"} This should do the trick.

You are mostly correct. It's important to note, though, that Steam says you are online if the following conditions are met: Steam is running on any machine with your account logged in. Steam has detected mouse movement or keyboard usage within the last 10 minutes on any of these machines. This means that Away can reliably inform you of whether or not that user has touched their keyboard/mouse within the last 10 minutes. Keep in mind Steam does not detect controller input when it determines this. That means if you are in a non-Steam game playing with a controller, then Steam will detect you as Away. Even if you are in a Steam game and using a controller, Steam will set you to Away - but the "In-Game" status always takes precedence on the friends list so you can only see it if a friend happens to have a chat window open with you. When you go away it will show the message "{Username} is now Away." despite being in-game. This is because Online, Away, and Snooze are actually tracked separately and being In-Game does not overwrite them.

In my experience I just swipe the full length of the screen really fast and it goes pretty far. Also a little trick is that after a Pokemon breaks out once it tends to move farther back so if you leave the battle and try to catch it again it resets back to being closer. Just be careful that if it takes too long and you back out the Pokemon might despawn and be gone.
