Why can I not login to Minecraft?

I quit and restarted Minecraft because it was being slow/lagging a lot to see if it would help.

Unfortunately, when I opened it up I was logged out and every time I try to login it gives me this message:

Username or password incorrect!

So, I re-typed everything and made sure to type it all correctly and it still won't let me log in. I also noticed that as soon as I hit login the password becomes blank.

I have purchased the game so it's not like a trial has expired or anything like that. What can I do to fix this?

If you are using the new launcher, (I'm assuming you are) just click the "Which do I use" link underneath the "Email Address or Username:" box, or the "Forgot Password" link under the "Password" box.

Mods won't work together if they modify the same files. TMI shares files with Nodus, so you won't be able to run both at the same time

If it asked to repair the XNA framework on your first start it most likely means that it was already installed. The other dependencies should be the .NET framework, either 3.0 or 3.5, and DirectX. I would try to install all of that manually and see if that fixes it. Just to be sure also update your graphics card drivers. Download links: Direct X XNA 3.1 .NET 3.0 .NET 3.5

You can use the replace functionality of the fill command to accomplish this. Per the DigMinecraft documentation: To replace one type of block in a region with another type of block: /fill [tileData] replace As such, the command to replace all light_block in a 15x5x15 area with air would be: fill ~ ~ ~ ~15 ~5 ~15 air 0 replace light_block

I have invented a solution to this problem using a mechanism to apply one tick of lava damage. It occurred to me that a tripwire could be placed immediately above lava in order to remove it (using a dispenser) as soon as a mob hits it, thus preventing the mob from continuing to swim in it. Doing this for the water as well as the lava means that no acceleration is needed to make sure the mob will fall down, so the whole mechanism is only a little bit of extra height above a standard fall-damage trap. Build details, from top to bottom: The zombies are pushed by water into the drop pipe. I don't know how important the length of the upper section is. The water and lava mechanisms are identical: Each dispenser contains an empty bucket. All pistons are sticky. The tripwire above the fluid is the input to the left (in first image) piston monostable (rising edge detector), which causes the dispenser to remove the fluid into the bucket. The monostable ensures that the tripwire input will not interfere with the second fluid-restoring pulse. Behind the dispenser is a comparator followed by 2 blocks of redstone wire; this detects the dispenser having a lava bucket (which counts as 1 stack) instead of an empty bucket (which counts as 1⁄16 stack), and triggers the right piston monostable to remove the fluid. In the event that the state of the dispenser gets reversed, this circuit will simply not generate a pulse, thus correcting the problem. Below the water block is exactly 19 ½ blocks of empty space (counting the sign) down to the fall-damage landing platform. Results: When the zombies hit the platform, a few still take 2 punches, but most of them take 1 punch to kill. I have successfully operated this mechanism in my survival world fed by two zombie spawners. Glitches: The amount of damage done is not completely reliable. It is possible for the dispensers to get inverted (resulting in zombies falling on fire, without taking any lava damage, or from the wrong height). This latest revision with comparators can self-correct this problem, but it still may result in an occasional zombie with the wrong amount of health. (I have also seen a dispenser completely fail to respond to pulses, so I suspect there is a Minecraft bug involved.) I know it can be hard to build mechanisms from screenshots, so if you would like any further explanation of other camera angles, feel free to ask me to add them.

When the port of your Minecraft server is not opened or forwared in your router and you are using your server purely local, then there is something else going on as pointed out by SevenSidedDie. I recommend using Wireshark which is a network sniffer to monitor your network traffic on the system(s) you are using to determine what this traffic is and maybe also determine which application produces it. If you are not able to find the application responsible for the traffic, you can at least find out which port the traffic goes through and then close that port. If this is the case you might want to consider nuking your system completely and reinstalling it, because you might be the victim of a virus or part of a botnet and setting up your system completely anew is the only way to be sure that you are free of either virus or botnet.

There is no way to automatically repair the world after it was opened in a wrong version. What happens in such case is the game loads the world and encounters blocks unknown to it, so it replaces all of them with Air. If the world is then saved, the information about deleted blocks is lost forever. As you have a somewhat-relevant backup, your best course of action will probably be to open both worlds in a map editor (the only one I know of is MCEdit, but there are probably others) and selectively copy parts of the damaged world into your backup. Just see which version of each building is better - the damaged one or the unfinished one from the backup. The reason for using backup world as a base, as mentioned by @dly, is that versions between 1.3 and 1.8 have introduced tons of changes to terrain generation, and not only your structures are now damaged, but the whole terrain, probably including underlying biome data. Here's a short list of all naturally generated things added since 1.3 to scare you a bit All these things now leave a hole in your world (or at least revert to more generic blocks). Flower Pots, Nether Quarz Ore, Trapped Chests, Horse Armor, Name Tags, Hardened Clay, Horses, dozens of new biomes, two Wood types and their derivatives, Podzol, Packed Ice, Coarse Dirt, Red Sand, Red Sandstone, several flowers and plants, Andesite, Granite, Diorite, Ocean Monuments. And Spawners are now probably broken due to different data format. After copying your damaged structures to your backup, if your game was survival, you may also opt to using creative mode or MCEdit to manually repair remaining damage.

You will need to create a chain of command blocks each being triggered 1 tick after the last. you will enter the command /tp @p[team=Green] ~ ~ ~ In this you will need to replace green with whatever the team color is and then the ~ with the coordinates. Look at the attach photo.

Direct Translation I'd like to start with the shortest explanation that there are some commands that cannot be directly converted to Java edition, per the documentation on commands. Here is a sample of the command table that shows a few of the first commands that cannot be directly used in Java edition: Command Description BE JE /ability Grants or revokes a player ability. Yes No Note: Please refer to the aforementioned documentation for the complete table. However, there are some commands that have very, very similar syntax in both Bedrock edition and Java edition. For example, the fill command is one such candidate for nearly direct translation: Java Edition fill [destroy|hollow|keep|outline|replace] Bedrock Edition fill [tileData: int] [oldBlockHandling: FillMode] As a result, the following command should execute successfully in currently released versions of Bedrock and Java editions: fill ~ ~ ~ ~5 ~5 ~5 concrete Indirect Translation (Your Use-Case) The execute command is one of those commands that is incredibly powerful in Java edition, but limited in Bedrock edition. Based on the command you provided: /execute @e[type=!armor_stand] ~ ~ ~ tp ^ ^ ^0.10 facing @e[name=blackhole,r=10] I can infer some guidelines for translation: All entities that are not of type armor_stand, from their current location, execute a teleport command to their local coordinates plus 0.10 on the z-axis, facing all entities named blackhole within a radius of 10. In Java edition, your command is a bit more complicated than it seems, and Bedrock edition is notorious for hiding this from us. Yes, if you purchase Minecraft Realms (https://beta.minecraft.net/en/realms/). When you create a Minecraft Realm, you have the option to use one of your Singleplayer worlds as a Realms base (it will not harm or delete the map in any way). Realms is coming to Pocket soon. UPDATE: Realms is now in pocket!

You seem to be under the impression that a Windows 10 machine is forced to play the Windows 10 edition of the game. This is not true. You can certainly continue playing the Java edition of game on Windows 10. You will just have to download the game onto the new computer (and maybe manually move saves using a USB flash drive or some other means to get your save data onto the Windows 10 machine).

The @s selector refers to the entity executing the command. In your case, the command is being executed by the command block, so the @s selector doesn't do anything. You need to tell the command block which entity is executing the command in order to use the @s selector. You can do that using as . Also, you can make your command shorter and simpler by using the @e[sort=random,limit=1] selector directly in the /effect command. Example: /execute as @a if score @s delay matches 50 run effect give @e[sort=random,limit=1] glowing This command is saying: "execute the command from every player, test if the player's score on the delay objective matches 50, and if it does, give one random entity the glowing effect". I recommend taking a look at this wiki page if you want to learn more about selectors.
