Does the train passing through mean anything?

Periodically (for example, today at 12:49) the level crossing barrier goes down and a train passes through my town without stopping.

Does this have any meaning? Is it a sign of some event triggering / zone changing? Does it always happen along with, or instead of, some other thing in my town?

Or is it just a random occurrence?

As far as I know, it is just an atmospheric event. It doesn't serve any real purpose.

To quote Artosis Maynard was a pro SC player from USA right when the game came out. He popularized over producing workers in your bases and doing what was called a "Maynard Transfer" each time he expanded by sending 12 scv/probe to the new base. This was shortened to maynard.

I don't think there is a "best" set up. But here is a pretty optimized one: Destroy all flowers. This will prevent butterflis from spawning. Chop down all non-Palm trees. The beetles on the palm trees are all worth 6,000+. If you are think you might want to grow the normal trees again, leave one standing to harvest its fruit for repopulation. Plant more palm trees if you wish. Now the set up is done. When you go beetle hunting, chase away anything other than palm tree beetles (wharf roaches, hermit crabs) and only catch the palm tree beetles. If you still have a normal tree, I would recommend chasing away Miyama, Fruit, and Dynastid Beetles, they aren't worth much. The giant stag grows on these trees, and is worth a decent amount, so catch that if you see it. I usually just walk in a circle around the beach, walk slowly and creep when you see a beetle. Some of the rarer beetles have low tolerance for noise. It's also useful to note that you don't need to be any closer than the edge of the tree's shadow in order to catch the beetle. If you get closer than that, you will most likely scare them away. I usually haul in 300k per trip to the island this way.

This is an issue on how the 3ds handles texture sampling. I tried to shift it in many ways including shifting up the dark color and putting a gray in between so it'd look better but it still looked bad. for the most part people usually have patterns without edges. I suggest making the edges's colours lighter and the path colours dark so that this effect will fade away a bit. (since your path's use a dark brown to border the edges you should lighten and gray it)

Sorry, there's no way to just move a rock. You have to destroy it ... But don't worry, rocks do respawn if destroyed. Note that there's a 1 / day rock respawn limiter. If you break 2 rocks, you'll only respawn 1 on the next day.

A

Surge is a Voidwalker's second-tier melee skill. It increases "weapon and movement speed," according to the tooltip. While I can confirm that it is a pretty significant movement speed increase, I haven't noticed any significant change to my weapons while under its effect.

For the second, third, and fourth players that join a village, the gameplay experience is much more familiar to the traditional Animal Crossing formula. Resources in the village are shared among players, and individual achievements (upgrading your home, establishing friendships with NPCs) are not. The defining difference between the player that is the mayor, and the players that are not, is that the mayor has complete control over how the town develops. The other players may play a supporting role by helping to pay off public works projects, watering flowers, and keeping the town clean... but ultimately the decisions the mayor makes will be the ones that shape the town. On a gameplay level, these are the noticable differences: The first player in a town will be that town's mayor. Flavor text in certain situations (villagers, butterfly fish, other NPCs) will change depending on your role in town. In-game conversations that are meant for the mayor (primarily with NPCs suggesting public works projects) will not take place with the other players. The mayor character has access to public works projects. These projects are the most prominent influence the mayor has on the town -- in some cases, they are permanent fixtures. Anything that is on the site of a new project will be removed. The mayor character has access to town ordinances. By virtue of being the first player in town, the mayor will very likely unlock gameplay features, such as the tropical island or the QR machine, before the other players. Until the other players reach their individual accomplishments, these features will be visible but locked to those players. Players that are not the mayor can move to another town, and become mayor of that town. The only prerequisite here is that they've completed their first house payment.

Soulbound items and soulbound loot are different in RotMG. In this case you have a soulbound item. Soulbound items will be lost on death. Soulbound items cannot be given to other players by dropping it or trading it. Soulbound loot just means purple/cyan/white bags, which cannot be accessed by other players, unlike brown/pink bags. If you drop a soulbound item on the ground, it will appear in a purple bag and only you will be able to see it. Soulbound damage is also term used to describe the amount of damage you need to deal to a boss in order to have a chance to get high tier items/potions.

Blue jobs are cargo and/or passengers for the current global event. Delivering them to the city of the event count towards completing it. Green jobs are indeed rewarded with bux, and white are regular jobs. There are also rare mystery parts, which are gold/orange, like the one in the image:

I don't think so, but it would be safe to assume that they are very similar to the GCN and WW numbers. In general these sorts of things change very little from AC game to game, the changes seem only to be balancing tweaks.
