Can I detect a ghost hidden soldier in multiplayer

I have noticed when playing MP that sometimes I cant move to a specific position. All there is is the yellow circle and cover does not trigger (as it does when you select a certain point to move your soldier).

My question are:
1. If an enemy in ghost is standing in a certain position, how does that reflect when I want to move to that same spot?
2. And do scanners show up ghosted soldier?

My answer only about first point: When enemy standing in certain position, you can't move your soldier to that position and yellow border show this. So, watching yellow border is common tactics to detect ghost soldiers.

I'm fairly early into the game but if an enemy is in view during their turn you can see when they go on overwatch. It pops up on the screen that the enemy has entered overwatch. I assume this is only for enemies in your view and that it doesn't constantly say it over their head thus forcing you to remember. I'll have to check somehow. UPDATE: After playing the game for a while I've seen a lot of enemies go into overwatch. There is no way to tell they are in overwatch until they fire unless you see them. You need to remember what enemies are doing what.

There aren't very many (if any) ways to increase your speed permanently or in a traditional manner: looks like Bethesda scrapped that entirely. However, there are a few non-convential and temporary means to increase it: Sprinting The basic way to increase your speed is to sprint. Since sprinting uses stamina, increasing your stamina, as Arkive mentions, or your stamina regeneration rate will allow you to move faster for longer periods of time: Choose Stamina while leveling up Use potions and equip armor with the Regenerate Stamina effect The Wind Walker perk in the Light Armor tree will increase stamina regeneration while wearing all light armor Using the Become Ethereal shout will prevent your stamina from depleting while sprinting, further increasing your sprint time. You can also sprint with your horse, although it doesn't appear to be any faster than regular sprinting. Lycanthropy If you want to run even faster, contract lycanthropy. In beast form, you sprint much, much faster than normal. Shouts While not strictly allowing you to run faster or leap higher, there are a few shouts that accomplish nearly the same thing: Slow Time will let you—aptly—slow time to allow you to move normally within your frame of reference but much quicker in others. Whirlwind Sprint is an extremely fast sprint that almost acts as a "blink" spell or short-range teleport. Archery If you happen to be investing in the Archery skill, you can pick up the Ranger perk, which will increase your movement speed while drawing your bow. Minimizing slowness If you exceed your carrying capacity, you'll no longer move at normal speed. If all else fails and you're still overencumbered, riding a horse will negate the effects of overencumberence while mounted. Finally, wearing heavy armor comes with a hit to speed. I realized that dx is x distance away from the command block to the y and z coordinate, (noting that d stands for distance) (after looking a bit longer I found this other site with the question and one of the responses giving a video) same with dy and dz (except the coordinates it goes to from it is different, for dy its to x and dz to x y.

A

There is no difference between singleplayer and multiplayer enemy spawning while using equal settings. More Biters will appear over time while the server is running, even if 0 players are online. That's configurable (there is a setting to auto-pause the game while no-one is playing).

The amount of time spent in the hospital after being wounded depends on the amount of damage you take. This means that healing heavily wounded soldiers with a medkit before they leave the mission will not reduce the amount of sickleave your squaddies get -- what matters is how much they take in, not how much they leave with. How much damage they can take in without being wounded depends entirely on what armor they're wearing. Armor provides bonus health - if they take more damage than the health bonus provided by the armor, they become wounded. This means that adding Nano-weave Vests to your soldiers reduces the chance they need hospitalizations, even after being shot, as it gives an additional 2 hitpoints worth of "fleshwounds" they can suffer. How much "Bonus HP" your units have is shown on the loadout screen - for example, they'll be displayed as HP 10 + 3 (combat armor + nanoweave vest). In general, there is also an Officer Training School bonus that reduces hospital time. That said, the simplest answer to your question? Don't get shot. The more damage you take, the longer the time off. Avoid damage as much as possible to minimize hospitalizations.

It looks like the LongWar mod has this option available. There's a thread on Reddit about this functionality - below is a quote, but essentially it appears to be a built-in function of the mod, and you can customise by editing DefaultGameCore.ini. LongWar is configured to change the color of your troops armor and headgear when they are first promoted into a class specialty. At this time you cannot edit the perks except by changing Type. I think they do not have a points to perks rating, and just rated the soldier in his full. As such, switching perks could unbalance an already badly balanced match up.

Flanking negates cover, including "full cover", so it will confer a 20% (partial) or 40% (full) difference in hit chance when there is cover. It confers a higher critical chance - 50% base chance, regardless of whether there is cover or not. It applies both ways (you flanking bad guys, bad guys flanking you).

The Chryssalid run distance in the ini file is 20. This translates into 13 squares of straight line travel for a half-move. See the detailed answer to the "What do distance units mean?" question. A basic soldier moves 15 squares in a straight line during a full move. Given a Chryssalid standing next to a soldier and a clear straight run in the opposite direction, the soldier should be able to full move out of range of the alien's half move, making the alien unable to melee this turn. The alien would have to full move and attack, which it can't do. Also note: Chryssalids ignore cover. They do not seek it. They do not use it. Their attacks ignore it. Your soldiers can better support each other by also ignoring cover to get closer together.

After reading online this is what I found. (Basically no, detection has no influence on a Changeling. "Once disguised, the Changeling takes on the enemy's own color and will no longer be automatically attacked by the enemy's units, allowing it to infiltrate enemy territory unsuspected. Changelings cannot be discerned as impostors by any form of detection, nor will the secondary effects of EMP Round reveal their true allegiance. Likewise, a Sensor Tower's Radar ability will not identify the Changeling as hostile after it has morphed. However, if the opponent selects the Changeling, they will be unable to give it orders (since it is not theirs) and the word "Changeling" will appear in place of the unit type that it appears to be."
