Does experience earned vary when you kill enemies from a vehicle?

Sometimes, it's way easier to kill enemies from a vehicle than on foot with your little guns. But do you earn the same amount of experience ?
If you earn more xp on foot than from a vehicle, will it work to damage an enemy from a vehicle and THEN finish him on foot ?

Yes, from experience, you earn less XP from killing enemies in a vehicle. It's orders of magnitude different.

You can damage an enemy from a vehicle and kill them on foot and get the "non-vehicle" XP for the kill. I've done this before in co-op, when I would hop out of a vehicle and my partner would stay on the turret, dealing damage. The game appears to only care about the killing blow.

A game using 100% of the CPU is not a bug, it is the intended behavior. You're running a game, what else do you want the CPU to be used for? Any CPU a game can take helps increase your frame rate and is generally a good thing so game use as much as possible.

No, there won't be a downside (except maybe losing some fun because you do all the work for him). In Playthrough 1 and 2 enemy levels (and their drops) are determined by "area levels", that are essentially fixed. Some areas get their levels raised as quests progress, and whole Playthrough 2 becomes level 50 (also known as Playthrough 2.5) when you kill the final boss - but enemy levels do not ever depend on player levels. With more players in the game, enemies become tougher by some percent, and there are more of them in some predetermined places - but all that is designed to be within your combined firepower increase, even if you are all the same level. In multiplayer, XP is shared between players, and if I recall correctly (it was some time since I played), the XP from a kill is first distributed (essentially copied to each player) and then modified by player level (so that if you're too high or too low, you get 1xp). No, there are no indicators of any sort to tell you whether an action will give you experience. Experience is generally awarded for completing mission objectives, collecting surplus medi-gel and reading journals. You will often be precluded from returning to areas after completing an objective. Doors will also often become permanently locked after a cutscene plays during a mission. It is a good idea to thoroughly explore an area before moving on with the quest after the enemies have been cleared out, if you wish to obtain the most items and credits.

It seems pretty clear on the TripWire forums that this problem is related to it being on Mac. And from looking there and reading what others have to say, the problem has existed for years now. It's probably pretty safe to assume that TripWire has no intention of fixing this given their track record. I guess the work-around is to use Windows or to buy games from legitimate companies.

According to this thread the quest rewards' scaling is determined at the time you activate the quest: Only the activation level counts. You could accept/start the quest at level 50, not turn it in until level 72, but the quest reward item would still be level 50. So once in UVHM it's better either not to do any side quests with blue or unique rewards until you reach the level cap. I can confirm that this how the scaling works for UVHM, as well.

I reckon you're starting a New Game, which will start a new character from Level 1. To change from Normal Mode to True Vault Hunter mode, go to the Main Menu > Select Character > Select your character which has finished Normal Mode > Select 'True Vault Hunter Mode' as your Playthrough mode:

You can receive one weapon drop per week. You will receive this drop the first time you increase your Rank during the week. Your level progress bar will indicate when you are eligible for an earned weapon. so the more you play, there will be more chance to get random drops but you will sure get one weapon drop per week when you will increase your rank. Transferring the save game can be done with a recent update to the PS3 version. For the trophies there are two separate lists, but if you transfer a save from the PS3 which has acquired trophies it will unlock them on the Vita, and vice versa. So, you can go through unlocking them all again if you want to, or you can transfer a save from your old game to unlock ones you've already acquired.

The reason that the other NPCs are attacking you is because you killed "another member of their order". Normally, going to Oswald to "absolve your sins" should clear the slate, but I'm not sure why or if this should have worked. Petrus has his own story line with the other three NPCs. Once you collect the Lordvessel, they will venture into the Tomb of the Giants, and get trapped. You can find them, kill the two guards (as they have gone hollow), then Reah will return to the Undead Chapel. She will stay there for a short time (2 or 3 bosses), so you can buy miracles from her then. After that Petrus will kill her. Source The issue is that you unfortunately killed Petrus too early, so you have unfortunately ruined the story line for these characters. Ideally, you should kill Petrus after you rescue Reah from the Tomb of the Giants. Unfortunately, I believe that since you killed Petrus before they arrived, they will be permanently aggro'd. The only way to resolve this is start the game over or enter ng+; or kill them.

According to the Wiki, Execute doubles the usual damage bonus granted by Decepti0n So that'd be melee * (2 * Decepti0n). In my own experience I've found that to be roughly accurate, I've found it difficult to perfectly time the same amount of bonus given by Decepti0n.

The ?? enemies are 4 or more levels higher than you, which means that you cannot damage them, only anger them. Eventually you'll get high enough level to see their actual level and be able to damage them.

Repairing Vehicles Vehicles are repaired by using the replace parts option accessible through the action menu if used on a vehicle. Only some vehicles can be repaired (list below), and in order to repair them you need to replace all the broken/missing parts in the vehicle (list below). Every vehicle starts missing all of their parts, but it is possible to come across partially repaired vehicles (due to the work of other players). The stealth aspect of Zero comes from his Action Skill: Decepti0n Each hero has an ability called an Action Skill, which is a 'mode' or friendly drop (such as a sentry turret) unique to that character that lasts a few seconds. It can be activated at any time once unlocked (at Level 5) and has a cooldown before using it again. Zero's action skill is a cloaking ability that also grants bonuses to damage. It has a cooldown of 15 seconds From the Borderlands Wiki: Action Skill: Decepti0n "Decepti0n" grants Zer0 the ability to deploy a holographic decoy of himself and enter an invisible "stealth mode." While cloaked, he can maneuver about the battlefield dealing amplified damage on his next attack. The longer Zer0 stays cloaked, the more damage he can inflict to enemies; however, the shorter Zer0 stays cloaked, the sooner he is able to use the skill again. Zer0 does not enter a separate dimension like Lilith when she Phasewalks, and can still take damage from all sources while cloaked. Damage Benefits whilst in Decepti0n: +650% Melee Damage +200% Gun Damage / +250% Gun Critical Hit Damage.

There are a few ways to kill incapacitated colonists or prisoners. On the health tab, select the Operations sub tab and you can schedule a number of operations. To simply kill the patient, select Euthanize. If you're feeling diabolical, you can also harvest body parts before putting them out of their misery. Removing a lung and a kidney will not kill the patient, assuming they are starting with two. Removing any other part (heart, liver) will result in the death of the patient. You can also select a colonist who has a gun, and fire at the ground where the person is standing/lying.
