Double cursor in Skyrim

Since I've installed Dawnguard and Hearthfire, when ever I do an Alt-Tab and come back to the game I get the windows cursor and the game cursor. And both are not sync over each other so it's kind of annoying. How can I fix this bug ?

Hit Esc before minimizing Skyrim, that way the Windows cursor won't show up after maximizing the game.

These are all the ways to gain experience for enchanting: Disenchanting items Enchanting items Using Soulgems to recharge weapons (Soul Siphon does not count) Personally the method I use is the one suggested in the wiki, which is to craft iron daggers, and then using petty soulgems to enchant them with a low level enchantment, and selling the daggers back to the shopkeeper. This allows you to improve three skills at the same time: smithing, enchanting, and speech. The amount you make selling the enchanted items offsets the cost of buying the materials. Just grab/buy every low level soulgem you come across and you'll level up enchanting in no time. Having a soul trap weapon will make this process much easier.

I assume you are talking about Heimskr? As with many other NPCs the Radiant system makes him a potential quest giver/quest target. Some of the potential quests in which he can be involved can be seen here. The Elder Scrolls Wiki speaks of an additional two interactions with this NPC: After Battle for Whiterun: His house will be destroyed during the battle; in the aftermath he will reside in a small tent next to the shrine of Talos or he can be jailed if the Legion wins the battle. Should the Stomcloaks take over Whiterun, Jarl Vignar Gray-Mane mentions building a temple of Talos in Whiterun, and making Heimskr the high priest. The Burglar Job: His house may be the target for one of Vex's burglary jobs, in which the Dragonborn must steal a specific item. If his house has been destroyed, it becomes impossible to complete the burglary

The game counts the Werewolf's ability Howl of Terror as an unlocked shout (I'm assuming you are a werewolf, or have been). I have just tested this on a save where I have found 5 word walls but have yet to kill a dragon (Of course, meaning I haven't unlocked any of these 5 shouts). As I am a werewolf however, the stats page tells me I have unlocked 1 shout. This is further verified by the stats page telling me that my favourite shout is Howl of Terror.

No, Thorald does not return to Whiterun. When you free him he makes a comment that it would be too dangerous for him and his family to be seen in public, and that he would be better off hiding from the Thalmor. Later, you may see him in Windhelm enlisting with the Stormcloks under Galmor Stone-Fist’s command. You can read more from Thorald’s wiki article

This could be what your looking for. More info would allow for better answers If you go through the stages, go through the door to where the initiation is to start, and a hagraven and a hag in Illia's Mothers place Illia will continue into battle alone killing both of them. If you encounter this Illia's Mother will not appear, not starting the initiation process, she will then return to the top door (If you try to interact with her she will be a blank npc not offering options) ending the quest as unfinished. PC Note This can be fixed by prid 0004B47C, enable. Silvia will appear and act hostile but will not initiate combat. Once you attack, Illia will join the fight and the quest will be marked as completed once Silvia is dead. Taken from uesp.net

Here is a list of possible solutions, starting with the least invasive option. You should stop following these instructions as soon as you have solved the problem. Make a permanent save before doing any of the following things. Save and load. Your stamina may fix itself automatically. Reload a save from before the effect was applied. Equip and then unequip the ring, to reapply and then remove the enchantment effect. Open the console, click on an empty container which you own (e.g. in a player house), note its refid (the hexadecimal number that appears when you click on it), and then type player.removeallitems . This moves everything into the container, and implicitly unequips all items. If you somehow have duplicate copies of the ring equipped, this removes them. player.dispelallspells will remove all "temporary" spells on your character. It normally does not work on enchantments, because they're supposed to go away when you unequip the item in question. It also does not work on "permanent" buffs, which must instead be removed individually with player.removespell . You can fix it manually using modav commands, but this is somewhat more complex. Basically, use player.getavinfo stamina to figure out what happened to your stamina attribute, and then undo it: If you have an unwanted temporary modifier, this should have gone away with player.dispelallspells. Try doing that again. If you have an unwanted permanent modifier, this means that some permanent enchantment or magic effect is causing it. You can increase or decrease the permanent modifier using player.modav stamina , but it may be preferable to try and find the underlying magic effect and dispel or remove it. If you have somehow gained more than the maximum amount of stamina, you can fix this with player.damageactorvalue stamina .

I couldn't find Atar's new location anywhere, but you could try player.moveto In this case, Atar's RefID is 000622E7. This will move you to wherever Atar is. Alternatively, you could bring Atar to you with: Prid followed by moveto player Where the RefID is once again 000622E7. Also, for the future, try this mod.

No. In the base game there is only one spell that induces invisibility and that is targeted only at the caster. Since children cannot learn spells, nor can they be pick-pocketed (reverse or otherwise), there's no way to do this in the game. However, if you are on PC then you can use the console to acquire the Fade Other spell which isn't available anywhere in the game. Fade Other, as the name suggests, allows you to target an NPC with the spell and they become invisible for 30 seconds. The ID for Fade Other is 00028532 so you can use the console command player.addspell 00028532 (you can omit the leading zeros) to add it to your spell book. Here's a reference explaining the limitations of children in the game: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Children Update: If you're playing the Special Edition on PS4 or Xbox One you could just create a mod which adds this spell into the game somewhere and deploy the mod to Bethesda.net. I'm unsure if a mod that does this has already been created.

There must be a problem with the Steam configuration files linked to your profile. Your best bet is to reinstall Steam. The games in your library will be detected automatically once you start Steam after the reinstallation process.

Yes, saves are forward compatible from the regular edition to legendary edition. Note, however, according to the official support page you may have issues going in reverse (from legendary to regular).

Before leaving the sanctuary, be sure to talk to Karliah or both she and Brynjolf may become stuck underwater. At this point you will not be able to talk to her, essentially breaking the quest. Use the console commands prid 58F1A and then moveto player. This way you can talk to her and continue the quest. Alternatively, you can try swimming and bumping into Karliah repeatedly to knock her into the correct path and out of the water, at which point she will continue normally. This may take a while, so it is a good idea to have a waterbreathing enchanted item with you to prevent drowning (if you are not playing as an Argonian). Another option is to shoot her with arrows when she is in sight from the land. She will run up at you. If you have a potion of paralysis, paralyze her when she is on land. Exit and come back. There is no "ending" in Elder Scrolls games. There's the main quest line, but the game doesn't end: it just wraps up like any other quest chain. That is, if you decide to finish the main quest line and Defeat Alduin the NPCs related to that quest will react1 to the outcome. If you don't, or even if you do, you'll just keep playing until you get bored. NPCs will continue to react differently depending on what you've done throughout the game, not just in the main quest line. Note 1: Depending on your actions, there's a specific cutscene that may or may not trigger: After Season Unending, the Blades will demand that you kill Paarthurnax. If you don't oblige, Paarthurnax will tell you of his plans to reform dragons and teach them the Way of the Voice once Alduin is defeated.

Go to a far away place and sleep for a week. This should reset that cell and fix any NPC oddities. I had this happen to me with Whiterun's jarl.

I don't know why the double cart fails when hitting the dirt block there, but I'm not going to give too much thought about it, given that it's a glitch we're talking about. Replacing the end of the second booster with another circular return would let the boosting carts retain enough momentum to reset all the way to the first booster and the booster cart gain enough momentum for your evil needs. Given that the first reset consistently didn't break the double cart, this should also be safe.

The altar dragons actually respawn, it just takes some time. Perhaps do some fast traveling, or use Wait (but not at the altar). Many reports are that re-spawning takes 30 in-game days, but I've had locations take only 10. I just tested Skyborn Altar. 10 days was sufficient for the dragon to respawn. I find it fastest to look at the date on the map screen at bottom right, add 10 for your target, and fast travel the longest distances to pass time. MarkarthRiften is ~26 hours. From my experience if you arrive too early you will have to wait all over again, better to load back before the arrival.
