Stop aging in sims 2

Besides the elixir of life, is there any option (or maybe a cheat) to stop my sims from aging?

I'm playing Open for Business and would like to make a lot of money (simoleons) before he is retired and he is aging too fast.

According to the information found here, complete the following steps to disable aging for your sim.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+C to display the console window
- Enter "aging off"

Since I legitimately bought these games, I went to EA technical support and told them everything I told here. They asked for my product key, and I gave it. They proceeded to place The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection in my Origin account. Upon downloading this, I was easily able to run The Sims 2 and all of its expansion packs, stuff packs, and patches. There are then two known issues remaining: The resolution is locked at 800x600, and Sim shadows indoors are large black rectangles. The good news is that these are well-known and easily fixed. tl;dr If you have a legitimate copy of The Sims 2 (expansion packs or not), tell EA and they will give you Ultimate Collection, which runs easily on modern computers.

When this happens to me, it's because for some weird reason, the follower's relationship to the player character has decreased. Most followers will only follow you if you are at a certain positive level of relationship with them. If playing on the PC, to increase your relationship level to Ghorbash the Iron Hand, you can use the following console commands: prid 19930 setrelationshiprank player 3 OR player.setrelationshiprank 19930 3 Note that the '19930' in the above console commands is Ghorbash the Iron Hand's RefID. If you have a different follower, you can search for your follower's RefID at the UESP wiki's "Followers" article and replace '19930' with the appropriate RefID. Another method to target instead of using prid is to open up the console and then click on your follower. If done correctly, your follower's RefID should show up on the screen. This is the same as entering prid in the console. Th above console commands will set your follower's relationship to you as 'ally'. You can also change the '3' in the console command to '4', if you want to set your follower as a 'lover'. That will also allow you to marry them. Objects in The Sims 2 are assigned a "depreciation" value. It's been a while since I looked at the internal code of the game; but if I remember correctly: The "depreciation value" is between -100 and 100. An object with a 100 depreciation value will lose 100% of it's value over the period of one day (within the game). The average depreciation value is about 10%; which is why objects usually lose monetary value over time. (10% per day, compounded) Some objects have a negative depreciation value. For example; "-25% depreciation" will cause the object to gain 25% in value each day. Most objects with negative values are artwork/sculptures, which seems logical (as these items typically increase in value in real life). In a few instances; such as the bowling alley, they do gain value due to an error in the objects code. At a guess, I would imagine the programmer entered a negative value by accident.

Yes, you can breed pets in the sims 2. See http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Breeding#The_Sims_2:_Pets In The Sims 2: Pets, a pet house is required. This allows the player to have the selected Sim command a pet to try to have puppies/kittens with another pet. The Sim must have a good relationship with the selected pet to successfully command it. Additionally, the two pets must also have a good relationship with one another. If successful, the two pets will go into a pet house and WooHoo. If the female pet becomes pregnant, the player will hear the same music that plays when a Sim conceives. If you do want to control the pets yourself, you can use the cheat boolProp controlPets on after opening the cheat console with control-shift-C.

As suggested in the comments, you need to go back to an older version of the Nvidia driver. Or update to a newer update from Nvidia solves the issue. See the Minecraft bug tracker for the same error code, which has now been resolved. I've included the suggested fix below. Download the latest driver version 378.66 (or later)

I would suggest opening a support ticket. Niantic will probably hop on this right away as it's giving you an unfair advantage compared to other players. Short of that, try uninstalling, running SD Maid, reinstalling, running SD Maid again, and then see if that fixes it.

No. Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur can only be obtained in Black/White 2 by trade, or special events. Ways to obtain Pikachu and the Red/Blue starters in BW2 include: Time-limited Wi-Fi, Global Link and Dream World events: keep an eye on Bulbanews' events listing. For example, you can currently download the Red/Blue starters if you have a Korean copy of Black/White, or Pikachu if you buy the game on Amazon UK. At time of writing, there are no English language events for these Pokémon. Find someone online who will trade you one - quite easy, since Pokémon can be bred. You can't use the GTS for this, though, because you can't request a Pokémon you haven't seen Trade from an earlier game using Poké Transfer: Professor Oak gives you a Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle in HeartGold or SoulSilver when you defeat Red You get a Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle as a starter in FireRed and LeafGreen Pikachu can be caught in every main series Pokémon game on the GBA and DS, prior to Black/White Interestingly, Black and White are the first main series Pokémon games where you can't catch Pikachu - except for Yellow, technically, where you receive one as a starter.

My earlier assumption that the dynamo was not running out of lava was apparently incorrect. Usually the dynamo pulled it's lava from the pump, but sometimes, the dynamo seemed to stop powering the pump (despite having a completely full energy reserve) until it got more lava. Which it wasn't going to get from an unpowered pump... The solution? A simple redundant lava input. Now granted this is all supposition up to this point and I can't really test this solution thoroughly because it's an unpredictable problem but it seems to be working so far...

Is this the kind of green colour you mean ? If so, they are not necessary admins of the tournament but rather spectators directly in the lobby of the game played (unlike spectators from DotaTV who generally have delay), either as caster/cocaster or as specatators. They can speak to everyone in the game, pause it and most of the time an admin/organizer of the tournament will fill one of these slots to act as a referee in extreme cases but not always, for example in some small amateur tournaments where players have to report the game score themselves. By the way their colour isn't always green, I believe it depends on the order they joined the lobby (their spectator slot).

You can't access the Graphics/Performance Options menu from the Tutorial. Go to a lot in an actual neighborhood and you should be able to access the menu from there.

After some googling, I was unable to find any hard evidence of the point or purpose, aside from some other YouTube videos. As for what its "purpose" is, outside of any Developer confirmation, there's not much that can be said. What I can say is that Devs do often do this, for many reasons. Generally (from what I have heard of similar environments in other games) it's to give them their own testing space, then instead of deleting it, they just remove access to it (again, this particular choice can be for multiple reasons, the main one being "if we remove it the game breaks", or "It's used so that we can store items that will come into play later in the game"). As for why you ended up there, since you were playing on Steam, this can possibly explain. Sometimes Steam Games need the Steam environment to run (for licensing) which can cause processing errors, causing your game to bug out. Either that, or the game itself simply glitched, causing the bug. Generally, the solution is to load an earlier save, or start again. If the game still runs into the same glitch, especially in the same area, re-install the game, and if it still occurs, contact the sales provider (i.e. Steam) to get a replacement download.

Elder sims can 'pass away', or die if you will. Dying in the game doesn’t mean you need to face an accident or have an illness. Sim's life has a limited time period. Once the Grim Reaper starts to appear in your home and follow your Elder Sim everywhere, that’s the indication that your Elder Sim is about to pass away. The good part of dying in The Sims Mobile is the reward that you'll receive. Retired Sim will give you Heirlooms. These will serve as a memento and these will give you advancement in the game too.

Use aphrodisiac meals to put the target in a good mood. Giving the meal to the target raises the relationship and they will want to eat it. Couches can become social machines. Trap a Sim on a couch. Block their one-tile exit. Now, any Sims seated with them will talk with them, at NO loss, raising their relationship, albeit slowly, AND filling the Social meter. Marry to obtain control of another Sim. Divorcées can still be controlled afterward. This is useful when the target is in a good enough relationship to get married to another Sim that you control, but you want to befriend them with another Sim. Although socialization with ghost interactions have 0 base consequences (by themselves, they'll never improve or worsen a relationship), socialization with ghosts can still benefit from relationship meter bonuses (i.e., +1 for being on good terms in the past) which results in 100% win for easy relationship building. Another way of avoiding the post-four-wins-streak loss of social interactions is to perform the social interactions outside of Direct Control mode. Cultivate a graveyard garden of friendship. Mourning a Sim raises your relationship with them (as long as they're not on your lot). You can mourn them for as long as your Fun is not low enough. Is it possible to mourn urns, as well as memorials? Yes. How to kill: Main method: starvation: Get target on couch or bed. Trap the target by blocking their exit (such as with a cheap waste-basket). Wait until they are sure to die from starvation once they awake, then release them to die to get a tombstone of them. The visiting Sims in my games have nightmares about garbage cans until they die from hunger. If you're looking to kill a Sim that you control, trap them in sleep in a bed because this allows you to fast-fast-forward when all controllable Sims sleep, speeding up the starvation process.

There are two ways to do this. The first way is with a hack. There are a couple out there, but No Playable Shoppers from More Awesome Than You is probably the simplest and most trustworthy. The second is to avoid mixing your playable sims with anyone else's by making a unique neighborhood for each player. The base game comes with three neighborhoods already set up: Pleasantview, Strange Town, and Veronaville. Sims from Pleasantview do not meet sims from Strange Town or Veronaville, so you and the person you share a PC with could each pick a neighborhood or create a custom neighborhood to keep the sims separated from each other. If you have already started sharing a neighborhood, or if you both want to use the same neighborhood, there are ways of copying the neighborhood files (basically, your saved game) to create duplicate neighborhoods. Or take the easier route and export your sims, then import into a new neighborhood. The downside to the multiple neighborhood approach is it doesn't work if you yourself have more than one playable house, for example if you make two different families. Only a hack will work in that case. But if you don't want to use hacks, separate neighborhoods is the best option.
