Strength increases Armor by the amount of Strength you have, and increases Barbarian damage the amount of Strength you have as a % amount. Meaning if you have 100 STR you'll have 100 armor and 100% extra damage as a Barbarian.

Dexterity increases Dodge chance, and increases Monk and Demon Hunter Damage just like Barbarian's STR

Intellect increases Magic Resistance based on total INT. For Example, 1111 INT would give you 111.1 Magic Resistance. Intellect also increases Wizard and Witch Doctor damage just like Barbarian's STR.

Vitality increases health.

You are harder for the enemies to see when you are in the darkness. You know you are in darkness when your view switches to black & white. However, shooting out the lights when there are enemies nearby alerts them. Source

I decompiled the game source code, and it shows that if your hunger (or thirst) "points" are at 100, it applies 5 "starve" (or thirst) damage every 3 seconds. There's two answers to this question, depending on if you pick Mending Serpent(each attack gives a small heal to the target ally) at level 4. I didn't pick Mending Serpent: You're on the right track. You want to put this on whoever is in range and will stay in range to get maximum use from it. I picked Mending Serpent: Now you have to be more thoughtful about your usage. You still want to pick someone who will be in range to use it so they receive the healing, but now you need to think about who will get the most use from the healing. A good use is casting this on someone who is about to be out of range of your healing brew. Example: A fight is starting and you have Anub'Arak on your team. He is probably going to burrow towards their backline, but you need to stay near your backline to keep your assassins healed. Anub'Arak is a good target for Mending Serpent, since he will get good use from the damage and healing by staying in range.

I just tried it out, and Bushido effectively cancels out Populism. You get your normal strength, whether you are damaged or not, and you never get the 25% power boost.

You only get experience from the bonus for enemies that give experience as normal kills. Summoned, resurrected, or low level enemies do not give experience, and therefore would count towards a massacre bonus, but would not contribute to the experience bonus.

If the items in question have identical names and the Unique Equipped flag above their required level, then you will only be able to equip one of them, regardless of their stats.

According to the wiki: Prevents Player from changing his/her Trinket, unless they have Mom's Purse. In return, reduces the health of all bosses by what appears to be 10-15%. (This also affects bosses encountered at random through normal rooms)

You get experience for the initial group of enemies, but any new spawned enemies give you 0 exp This was probably done to prevent exp farming, since Blizzard wants you to go out and explore their world, not sit in one spot and farm experience Edit: The "initial group" includes the monsters that are alive with the spawner too. So if you walk up on one Crows Nest and 4 crows, the 4 crows will give exp but any new crows spawned won't

The AH is now offline, so there's no way to check what crafting materials go for anymore. New ones are also Account bound, so you can't even trade them even if you wanted to. It depends on what crafting material you are looking for. If you're looking for Subtle Essence and Fallen Tooth, your best bet is to farm as much gold as you can, and buy it from the auction house. Currently, the crafting materials are selling for 20 and 45 gold, respectively. That is drastically cheaper than buying shop items, or even farming them yourself. Source: this answer. So, the answer fluctuates. In the event that the crafting material cost on the auction house rises above the cost of buying an equivalent magical item you can salvage, buy it from shops. In either case, gold find helps you. For magic find, it will also depend on how long it takes you to find and gather magical items. The time investment will fall somewhere between the other two scenarios. It will take less time to find items you can salvage than it would to gather 1000 gold, but quite a bit longer than to gather just 25 or 100 gold. The only time you want to really find magic items is when crafting material cost on the auction house goes above the cost of shop items. Which, at that point, becomes a stable economy for you on it's own. Buy magic items from shops, salvage, post crafting materials on auction house. Repeat. Use extra gold to buy items to salvage materials for yourself. So, short answer, from least to most time investment, using Subtle Essence as an example: If: Crafting materials are dirt cheap (Costs less than you would get from selling magical items): Sell magic items and buy from auction house. If: Crafting materials are more expensive (more than selling your magic items) and less expensive than buying items from shops for salvage: If: Gathering requisite gold will take longer than finding magical items: Find magical items. Else Gather gold and buy from auction house. If: Crafting materials are more expense than buying magical items from shops: Buy items from shops, salvage materials, post on auction house for profit until price drops below viability. You should be using magic missle, with the rune that adds 4 arcane pwer per hit. Then Tornado, with the decreased arcane power rune. Don't forget to use energy armor, with the rune that adds all resistance. And diamond skin, with the rune that adds more damage absorbtion. Also use arcane hydra. And lastly, either magic weapon or archon with teleport and that should do it. Gearwise, get all resistance gear with as many sockets as possible.

For these specific missions where you have to destroy a depot, I destroy them with my ship. When you are within the atmosphere of a planet, no sentinel spaceships are deployed, so you are pretty safe if you remain inside of your ship. You will still get the cargo that the depots contain (so long as you have inventory space in your ship). After you destroy the depot, simply fly away from the sentinels (but remain in the atmosphere) and they will eventually back down (unless you get a 5 star wanted level - see below). If you decide to venture on foot, some things I've noticed when being chased by sentinels is that if you go inside of any building, they will not attack you. In fact, they can be in the building with you, and they will still begin the "searching" process with the countdown timer. If you let the timer tick down, you can escape them. I think the reason for this is because when you enter a structure, it forces your character to put away their multitool, leaving you defenseless. I think the developers of the game realized this, and as such, made the sentinels stop attacking you. If no buildings are around, and you are taking some heat, use your terrain manipulator to dig a tunnel and get away. You might have to dig quite a bit, but the sentinels are generally not smart enough to follow you into the tunnel (most of the time they can't even get in it). If you want to fight them, I've found that so far a scatter blaster is one of the best weapons against them. It can nearly one-shot the small flying sentinels if you are close enough to them, and as for the Walker units, it can destroy their leg armor very quickly. After you destroy the four leg armor pieces, you are able to begin shooting the Walker head to destroy it. I've found myself destroying Walkers in as little as a minute. If you are taking a lot of damage, you can dig a tunnel (remember, the sentinels aren't bright enough to follow you into most tunnels) and allow your shields to regenerate or use some resources to recharge your shield. From an old answer that I've posted, once you reach a "5 Star" rating with the sentinels, they will not back down, even if you try the building trick (although they won't attack you in the building still). The only way to lose a 5 star rating is to fly out of the atmosphere of the planet you are on. This will in turn place a 1 star level on you, and a sentinel starship will begin to hunt you down. There isn't much you can do to run away from the starships. You can fight them, but this will just raise your wanted level further. You either need to dock your ship on a freighter/space station to lose the starships, or land on a planet again. It may be hard to reach a freighter or space station however, since you cannot engage your pulse engine when you are engaged with the sentinel starships.

This actually can be kind of tricky with the location to where you place your claymores. I have not 'climbed them like a fence' before because they usually blow up in my face. Although, I have entered a doorway (running through) where the claymore has gone off and not harmed me at all. [it should have killed me] My recommendations: For claymore locations on Metro: would be at the very top of both front and back escalators on objective B. These are usually squeezed points where players [on average] sprint up carelessly to attempt to either flank or bypass that objective. For claymore locations near a doorway: I would place them facing the doorway, sitting in a location your enemy would not be facing when they enter that room ( when the claymore gets triggered, it blows up into their back). This method will strive to prevent the enemy from noticing the claymore (so they dont bypass it or disarm it safely). If that method isn't applicable, your best option is try to conceal the claymore by hugging a wall facing outward towards the door and having it placed about a foot back from the door. Keep in mind results may vary. Different players techniques vary and these are just a few recommendations.

If you refer to the other question/answer for your stat priority, I will cover the issue of survivability on Demon Hunters. The other question contains answers with a level of detail that doesn't need duplicating here. Here is a disclaimer: This is the way I do it and prefer to do it, I have heard others building an effective 'tank' build for a Demon Hunter that will allow you to survive a few hits but my personal preference is glass cannon with maximum DPS and a reliance on my own awareness to avoid damage. Survivability is managed with abilities and awareness on a Demon Hunter, you will want a certain amount of health so that you don't get one shot - I personally keep mine 'around' 30k for doing the later acts in Inferno but you can get away with lower depending on your ability to kite enemies. Survivability comes in the form of abilities like Smokescreen (a complete immunity) which I prefer to use alongside Lingering Fog (for the increased duration), Vault (a rapid movement ability) which I prefer to use with the Tumble rune (to allow multiple uses while effectively managing Discipline) and some form of slow. This can take the form of Caltrops or one of your other abilities with the required rune to add a slowing effect. Another useful ability is Preparation, as this restores your Discipline pool. I personally use the Battle Scars rune for the additional healing as well. Your play-style will then essentially consist of avoiding attacks as much as possible, and any situation where you're about to take damage would result in you using Smokescreen to give you the time to get out of the range of your attacker.

This appears to be nerfed continues to be so. The only way I've found is using anti-tank mines and / or bringing anti-tank guns to the bridges, destroying them, and then disbanding the units.
