Breaking a Crimson Heart will have the same effect as breaking a Shadow Orb. As to how to reach it, you have 3 main ways. The most straightforward, but also the hardest, is to get a pickaxe that can mine Crimstone. Right now, your only choice is to fish a Reaver Shark from the ocean, but it's a pretty low chance. The second way is to remove Crimstone blocks through a different method; explosions from Bombs and Dynamite can destroy Crimstone, and you can craft Sticky Bombs with Gel and Bombs to carefully aim your explosions against walls. This requires a decent amount of explosives, though. The easiest and cheapest way is to purchase Purification Powder from the Dryad, which turns Crimstone into normal Stone Blocks, which are then easily mined away.

The signals in front of the station needs to be exit pre-signals. You're currently using normal block signals, which means that the entry pre-signals should find no valid exit pre-signals, and will act like normal block signals, and thus be green since no train is occupying the next section of track. The trains should not recognise the tunnels as valid exits, since, as you mentioned, they are one-way signals. I'm assuming you're talking about the Moonlight Butterfly, encountered in Darkroot Garden: The Moonlight Butterfly is a slightly annoying boss for melee characters as they cannot damage it until it lands. Strafe along the bridge and roll to dodge its attacks, although it might take several tries before you get used to the timing. Alternately, you could get a shield with high magic resist, such as the Crest Shield. Summoning Beatrice will also help as she has ranged attacks. You can find Beatrice's summon sign at the bottom of the stairs, hidden by some shrubs. Whenever it lands, go ahead and two-hand your weapon as it has no attacks when it's on the ground and cannot hurt you.

You meet Kirk up to 3 times per playthrough. 1st in the Depths, then in the Demon Ruins, and finally in Lost Izalith. You need to fight him in this order otherwise he will not appear. You must be alive and have not beaten the boss of the area for him to invade. Each time you fight him, there is a chance he drops either his sword or shield (both are uncommon drops) After you kill him the third time (in Lost Izalith), his corpse will appear in the Queelag Domain (past the bonfire where the Daughter of Chaos resides). You can use the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring or the sorcery Hush to make no sound while moving, so you won't have to walk instead of running anymore. If you have no ring slot left for the Ring of Fog, you can alternatively use the Hidden Body sorcery as well. If you get detected and want to escape enemies, you could also try to use the Chameleon spell after running away to stop them from following you. This forum post also suggests that the weight of torso armor affects noise and detection by enemies. I remember that armor made a difference in Demon's Souls, but I am not sure how much it really affects noise in Dark Souls. It would make sense though that light armor is less noisy. Generally, having both the Ring of Fog and the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring equipped should make sneaking around much easier.

There is a third NPC who can upgrade your pyromancy flame besides Eingyi (the egg guy) and Laurentius. Quelana of Izalith will appear in the poison swamp in Blighttown near the Quelaag boss arena, when you have a Pyromancy Flame +10. According to the wiki, she also appears if you host a phantom who has a +10 or higher flame in Blighttown, the Depths, the start of the New Londo Ruins or the Demon Firesage boss room. That way you can make her spawn and upgrade your flame further, because you don't have a way to do so currently. I never tried this personally and don't know if anything changed about it in the remaster. Since you beat Quelaag already, you can't host in Blighttown anymore, but if you know someone with a +10 flame you can try it in the other areas. You can also have a phantom drop you a +10 flame to get Quelana to appear. If you don't know anyone who can help you with this, here is a place where you might find someone to trade a flame. You can also give the flame back to the owner once Quelana appears and you upgrade your own flame. There is no other way to upgrade the flame until NG+.

Without a screenshot, I'm guessing you mean the (altitude) location indicators. These little red arrows indicate that an object is above (arrow points upwards) or below (arrow points downwards) your current location.

I believe this page is still accurate. There are several places to obtain once-per-playthrough slabs, but I believe the Darkwraith enemy in New Londo Ruins is the only one that can drop slabs and can be farmed (because it respawns). I recently got a slab drop from a Darkwraith (and I wasn't even farming for them), but it may have been just before the 1.08 patch was released.

You were playing Pokemon Red or Blue, and this is known as the Missingno glitch. This glitch is rather interesting, so I'll include some details on how it works. Essentially, there was an oversight in the code that made the right edge of Cinnibar Island (where there's the black-ish border) have some unique properties. It counts as a zone where wild Pokemon can spawn, but it also does not specify which Pokemon should spawn there. Because of this, it always uses the Pokemon that were in the last zone that you visited. Thus, it's useful for catching rare Safari Zone Pokemon, because you can battle them for real, putting them to sleep and damaging them, rather than relying on the luck of the Safari Ball. But that's not enough to explain how Missingno came about. There's more to it. Here's where talking to the Weedle Man comes into play. When you talk to the man in Viridian City who teaches you how to catch Pokemon by demonstrating on a Weedle, there are some interesting things done with the game's memory state. Pokemon uses all the memory available on the old Game Boy cartridges already. But at this point in the game, it wants the player's name to show as "OLD MAN" rather than whatever the player chose. In order to do this, it must copy the player's name to an unused portion of memory. Namely: The area where the Pokemon spawn rates for the current zone are stored. Usually this hardly matters, because when you enter a new zone, those values will be overwritten by the ones for the new zone. But if you go straight to Cinnibar Island and ride up and down the coast, some weird things start happening. Since it doesn't reset which wild Pokemon can spawn, and the last thing in that area of memory was your character's name, not a real spawn table, there are a whole variety of possible outcomes. Pokemon spawn higher than level 100. The Pokemon that spawn are random, depending on the characters in the player's name. And Missingno appears, when there is no real Pokemon corresponding to the data in the table.

You have it exactly right. Catalysts affect magic damage the same way that swords affect melee damage. A catalyst with 150 magic damage will do more damage than a catalyst with 100 magic damage (before scaling), and a catalyst with A magic scaling will do more damage than a catalyst with C magic scaling (assuming they have the same base magic damage).

The behavior of the bridge Hellkite changed a lot over different versions (as in updates) of the game. In the latest (xbox) version of the game, the dragon holds off on the first swoop-in (when he initially lands) and only attacks if the player runs past the stairs or rests at the bonfire. In earlier versions however, he was more aggressive. It's possible that the version you're using is not the same that you have seen in the video. (Possibly due to differences in platform compatibility)

The Orb of disruption blocks the holder as well as anyone that visits them: Disruption Orb : Role-blocks anyone who visits the holder that isn't night immune. However, it will role-block you every night as well. -From the How to Play So unless they are immune to roleblocks, the holder can not perform any actions, including ones that self-visit.

All shields deal strike damage, to which some enemies are more susceptible (skeletons). This might have a limited use early in the game when a weapon with strike damage might not be available/found yet. But frankly, a club can be bought from undead merchant pretty early on. I've never found a reason to use a shield as main weapon.
