No. You won't lose anything because the Switch uses a “Nintendo account”, and the WiiU uses a “Nintendo ID account”. Even if they are linked and you change the region on the Nintendo account, the Nintendo ID account doesn't seem to change. Also you don’t have to cancel your Nintendo Online subscription; you only need to disable “automatic renewal”. So as long as you're still covered under the subscription you shouldn't lose any game data. As-for games, if a particular game isn't available in your region it will be "hidden" but not lost, it's still attached to your account, you just can't play it without switching your account to a different region that does support that game. On a side note, the WiiU store is region locked meaning if you have a US WiiU it won't let you change to the PAL, or Japanese E-shop.

I don't believe that is "rot" like that, unless you live in a zone with extreme temperatures. Those little holes are more like some impacts or damage on the top of the disk, (not the reflective side). De-lamination sounds more accurate. But depending where is the damage it may not have any consequence on your disks: As example: your "Mass Effect 2" or your "Horizon Zero Dawn" will be fine as the damage is in the internal part of the disk and the laser didn't read that section. Your "Bayonetta Wii U" it's a different story... As you can see the hole is in the writable sector of the disk, so when the laser passes for that hole It will find no data written, only the acrylic. In the last case you may start the game and get some progress, but at some point the game will freeze or crash as there is some "lost code" in that hole. Even though the life cycle of any disk is not eternal, it could be up to 15 years or more if you take care of them. The recommendation for that is to store your disks always on the case, free of dust, never clean it with any aggressive cleaner, and keep it in a fresh and dry zone.

Precompiled shaders are compiled before gameplay. This means that they don’t change much (or at all) during gameplay. But, live shaders that are compiled every second during gameplay are much slower because the processor and GPU are rendering very complex images and numbers that second, instead of rendering beforehand. A Reddit post claims: It's an accessory connector/port that was never used. With the Wii U doing so badly in sales, Nintendo and third parties never made any accessories for the Wii U gamepad. Short answer no. Longer answer probably At one point I had a third party, rechargeable battery pack that had a usb port on the back, it likely worked while plugged in but I have misplaced it and cannot try it. You can probably cut a usb cable and wire it into the back of the controller. Drill a small hole in the battery cover for the wire. A resistor divider (as suggested in the comments) probably won't work. You need a buck converter instead. if you dont mind potentially frying a controller you could just try and hook the 5 volts a usb cord supplies directly to the battery terminals and It might work, but I would not suggest that. Additionally I have not tried but you may be able to power the controller through the expansion port by splicing in a usb wire and using a buck converter. I might try this out and post a youtube video of it if I can get it working. If I do I'll update the answer.

Go into the home menu, choose controller settings, then choose change order. You can also turn Wii remotes off by taking out a battery. Even after you put the battery back in, the remote won’t turn on until a button is pressed.

You will need to purchase the Wii LAN Adapter for that. The official adapter is compatible with Wii, Wii U, and Switch. Note that this will occupy a USB port on your console. According to Nintendo Support, regular USB to Ethernet adapters might not work with the Wii U. This likely also applies to the Wii and possibly also the Switch. You could try using an adapter you already own, but if you're going to buy one for the Wii U, I recommend buying the right one.

This may not be the answer you are looking for, but I do have an alternate solution, one which you may have already looked into; using the gamepad touch controls for Pikmin 3 instead of a wiimote. Advantages: use built in mouse control for gamepad touch, works very similar to wiimote point controls can use v joy controls in addition to built in controls for mouse easy to set up/use (especially assuming you already use v joy) Disadvantages: Pikmin cursor doesn't follow mouse movements when not clicked, as that would be like the gamepad following your finger without it touching no way to upscale crappy gamepad graphics in Cemu (to my knowledge)

The limit of 2TB is a hard limit on hard drive size, not on partition size. Most likely Nintendo uses a format based on MBR instead of GPT. Also, the Nintendo WiiU always formats the whole drive. You cannot "trick" it with different partitions in different sizes, it will always format the whole drive. Although for drives larger than 2TB you will only be able to use the first 2TB, you cannot use the rest for anything else. The test you are suggesting (partitioning a HDD into 2 partitions with 60GB each) will result in the WiiU completely using one 120GB-block of storage as it doesn't care about partitions and formats the whole drive in a custom format.

If you own Minecraft on Nintendo Wii and want to transfer it over to your Nintendo Switch, here are the steps you can take to complete this. Note Both consoles will need to be on, running Minecraft and connected to the same network. On your Wii U, while playing Minecraft, make sure that you have saved your current world. Select Connect to Nintendo Network. In the Load tab, select the save that you want to transfer, then select Transfer Save to Nintendo Switch. Confirm your transfer by selecting OK. Your Wii U will begin looking for your Switch to start the transfer. On your Nintendo Switch console, open Minecraft and select Play Game from the main menu. If you’re not already connected to Nintendo Network then you’ll be prompted to connect. You need to do this to transfer your save. Select Connect to Nintendo Network. In the load tab, press Y to transfer save from Wii U. On the Transfer save confirmation screen, select OK. Your saved world will begin to transfer over from your Wii U console. The game can be played without the updates but they are there to improve the game. You do have the option of external storage though information about using external storage can be found on Nintendo's support page here

Okay so wii-u appears to be the exception for this fun On the ipad minecraft version is a server tab and you can connect to the "Lifeboat Network" in order to play bedwars.

Short answer: You can't. Long answer: You could mod the gamepad to only turn on the gamepad's Sensor Bar, but if you could do that, you'd have significantly better options to choose from. The "Sensor" Bar, unlike its name implies, doesn't have any sensors at all. It's simply made up of 2 IR lamps. That's it. The actual sensors are in the Wiimote. The Wiimote senses the IR lights emitted by the Sensor Bar, and uses position, size, and distance of the lights to calculate where the cursor should be pointing, its rotation, and distance to the TV. The Sensor Bar is so simple, in fact, that anybody could simply place two candles in front of the Wiimote, and it would work. Alternatively, two regular lamps would work as well, although they'd have to radiate enough heat for the Wiimote's sensor to pick up. A better solution would be to use two IR lamps and create your own sensor bar. You can harvest IR lamps from TV remote controls. Or you could buy a Wireless Sensor Bar instead, which can be turned on even with the Wii U turned off.

According to this website it uses 31,840 blocks, which is almost 4GB. This is the base game. I did not find anything for the individual DLC packages.

The game has a 1.6 GB mandatory install but will also download files as you are playing and by the end of the game the game data size will be close to 8 GB.

I suggest getting a new Lan-Adapter (this one). Make sure to follow those steps (How to Connect a Wii LAN Adapter to the Wii U) properly. If that does not resolve your issue, you should get in contact with Nintendo Support, if you have not done so yet.
